Guess what, Halifax? Welcome Weekend is BACK at the Halifax Convention Centre, and you’re invited!

This year, we’re celebrating LOCAL in a BIG way—and you won’t want to miss it! Join us on Sunday, March 23rd, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM for an afternoon of FREE family fun, showcasing the best of Nova Scotia’s local talent, businesses, and community.

• Local Pop-Up Market: Featuring vendors from Nova Scotia Loyal and Taste of Nova Scotia offering locally made food and products.
• Stage Performances: Hosted by the African Nova Scotian Music Association (ANSMA), including Zamani, aRENYE, and Blessing Tangban.
• Family Zone: Inflatables, interactive sports activations with the Halifax Mooseheads and Halifax Thunderbirds, Curling Canada, and fun activities for kids.
• Snack Zone: Snacks prepared by our culinary team, a cookie decorating station, and coffee sampling with Java Blend Coffee Roasters.
• Quiet Zone & Board Game Room: A welcoming space with fidget toys, coloring pages, and board games.
• Community Activations: Featuring the Mi’kmaw Native Friendship Centre, Halifax Pride, Rainbow Register, The Royal Nova Scotia International Tattoo, Junior Achievers Nova Scotia, and more.
• Door Prizes & Giveaways: Including gift cards and event tickets courtesy of Downtown Halifax Business Commission and Scotiabank Centre.
