Where to learn

We know our history, but we’re always looking to the future. We’ve got tons of historic sites like the Halifax Citadel National Historic Site, the Halifax Public Gardens, George’s Island National Historic Site, the Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21; and yet we’re right in the middle of Atlantic Canada’s most modern city with strengths in Ocean Technology, Life Sciences, IT, Gaming, and Media.

Where to eat

You can’t get much fresher than seafood straight off the boat. Our local produce comes from the Annapolis Valley, just one hour away, and we love to raise a glass and cheers our craft beverage industry (everything from wine, beer, cider, and spirits). Come taste the flavours of Nova Scotia.
