Discover the Best Coffee Spots with Our Team!

Our Guest Experience Team members are not just experts on everything inside our Centre; they also have some key insights on our city. This week, we asked our team for their favourite places to get coffee. Whether you're looking for a quick stop next door or a pleasant walk to a cozy café, we've got great suggestions that will suit everyone's taste.

Caffé Lucca

Caffe Lucca

Vern and Lavanya's pick, Caffe Lucca is a coffee bar rolling on the back of an Italian Piaggio Ape, conveniently located inside the Nova Centre. You can grab a delicious cup of fresh brew moments after stepping outside our doors. Want to go for a walk and check out the boardwalk? Caffé Lucca also has a summer setup down in the Salt Yard! Our team loves the convenient location and unique set-up.

Harvest Clean Eats

Harvest

Isaacs's daily choice for coffee, located just a 2-minute walk from our door at 1625 Market St., Harvest Clean Eats offers a variety of options, including Americano, Matcha Latte, Drip Coffee, and Café Mocha. Founded on the principles of healthy, affordable, and fast, this spot not only serves amazing coffee but also fantastic lunches and snacks. How about a Chai Latte and a power bowl?

Seven Bays Bouldering

Seven Bays

Ready for an adventure? Lise-Anne suggests Seven Bays Bouldering on Gottingen, it’s the perfect place for coffee and a climb. The large, welcoming café in the front of the store is ideal for plugging in and sipping some fresh brew. No need to lace up your climbing shoes to enjoy a cup of joe, but beginners are welcome if you're up for trying something new and fun!

Le French Fix

FrenchFix

If you don’t want to venture too far from the Centre, Le French Fix is next door at 5233 Prince Street. This charming and cozy space is perfect for a fresh cup of coffee, delicious homemade pastries, and a relaxing atmosphere. Keryn loves the peanut-free options available here!

Bliss Caffeine Bar

Bliss

Modern, fresh, and local, Bliss Caffeine Bar is a brand-new spot at 1451 South Park Street, renowned for its fantastic brunch. Whether you choose to dine in or grab-and-go, you'll enjoy high-quality coffees and treats prepared by Michelle and Jenna, a dynamic women-led duo running this warm and inviting space. Lauren from our team says it’s the best coffee she’s ever had!

Uncommon Grounds

Sara’s favourite is this neighborhood café that serves locally roasted coffees and delicious baked goods. Operating on the idea of good people and fresh coffee, Uncommon Grounds is a quick walk for a great reward. Head to 1030 South Park Street to grab a featured drink, a tasty scone, and experience their freshly roasted beans in the signature Fog Burner Blend.

Java Blend

Since 1938, Java Blend Coffee has been a Halifax staple for delivering fresh, carefully crafted coffees. As a proud partner of our Centre, it’s no surprise that this is a team favourite! Emily loves the fresh taste and the consistently amazing quality. Add a Java Blend barista cart to your next event or visit their shop just down on North Street to taste for yourself!
