2024 NCLP CNDC 49th National Criminal Law Program
July 8-12
The NCLP is an annual, not-for-profit continuing legal education program. The NCLP draws attendees from across the profession, including federal and provincial prosecutors, defence counsel, judges, members of the law enforcement community, members of the Canadian military, and volunteers from local law schools.
Ministers' Council on the Canadian Francophonie - Agora - Francophone Economy
August 9 – 10
The Ministers’ Council on Canadian Francophonie (MCCF) is an intergovernmental collaborative organization that acts as a catalyst in sectors of importance to Francophone and Acadian communities. Economic development is undoubtedly a multifactorial issue that challenges governments in many ways. The MCCF’s Agora aims to bring together perspectives and identify avenues to explore in order to better support the Francophonie’s contribution to Canada’s prosperity.
119th CACP Annual Summit and Policing Trade Show
August 9-14
This year’s summit theme is the Impact of Global Events on Local Policing. Canada’s police leaders have an opportunity to meet face-to-face to learn and exchange with one another and an exceptional slate of guest speakers. Delegates gain valuable insight on key challenges and opportunities they should be aware of and be prepared for.
The 63rd Annual Conference of Metallurgists
August 19-22
The Annual Conference of Metallurgists (COM) is considered the Premier event for metallurgists and materials science professionals in Canada. COM 2024 will offer a unique opportunity to meet, network, and discover for those involved in the metallurgy and materials industry and research. Students, in particular, are welcome to show their research work, learn about the work of others, and understand what their future careers may be.

We’ve got a fantastic line-up of Local Pop-Up Markets in the Halifax Convention Centre’s Argyle Atrium this Summer. Along with our partners at Craft Nova Scotia and Taste of Nova Scotia, we work to ignite a spark in our guests that makes them love Nova Scotia like a local. You can stop by to meet the makers, sample their wares, and support local July 9th and 26th from 12:00pm – 2:00pm.
