Built on three key pillars - Local Flavours, Local Experiences, and Local Impact - the program celebrates and strengthens the connections between our events and the local community. By prioritizing local partnerships, we’re contributing to the growth of small businesses, sustaining family-owned farms, and celebrating the diverse talents of regional artisans. Whether it’s a culinary creation crafted from farm-fresh ingredients or a Pop-Up Market featuring local craftspeople, these elements add an authentic touch of Nova Scotia to every event we host.
Our Local Flavours Program, for example, collaborates with over 100 local farmers and food producers. Working hand-in-hand with these suppliers allows our culinary team to bring seasonal and sustainable ingredients to the table. Our partnership with Taste of Nova Scotia guarantees that every supplier we work with is proudly and authentically Nova Scotian.
Beyond food, we’re delighted to partner with Nova Scotian artisans through Craft Nova Scotia and the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia. These creative collaborations infuse our spaces with local charm, from handcrafted jewelry, woodworking, and ceramics available at our Pop-Up Markets to the stunning digital artwork displayed across our digital screens.
